I'm getting a quote of $15,349 for a JD 790 with 90 loader (60") hood guard, turf tires, calcium rear. What do you think? Is he in the ballpark or am I getting @#$%$. I really like the tractor but I am new to this. Any help would be appreciated. I'm learning a lot from you guys.

I am currently caught between the idea of buying a JD 790 or a Kubota L2500. Both with loader..I can get the price within $500 of each other. I will be mowing 5 acres with some light loader work. Any suggestions??

Where in NY do you live? I also live in NY (Albany area)and have been in the market to purchase a JD 4100. maybe we could help each other out. We could probably get better deal from each other than from a dealer. Did you like the 4100? What did you use it for? Why the upgrade? I'm new to this tractor game so I am trying to absorb as much info as I can. Anyone think that I can get a different brand and it will do the same tasks as the 4100 for less money? Lee
